Studios hangout was conceived of as a place where people who spend their time creatively can work while hanging out with other artists.

While I spend most of my time listening to Dateline while making a mosaics in my little studio, I often think I would love to be able to ask another person, "What do you think? Should the color be darker?"

A friend of mine mentioned in passing that during the pandemic she found online sites where people can co-work so they could work along side people and feel a little less alone. As a person in long-term recovery, I recognize the healing aspects to having a community, and so I decided to create a space to see if other artists would join me. 
 
Ultimately, I think it would be cool to have an marketplace on this site for us, so if people who are participating want to sell an item they can.
